White Certificates
What are White Certificates?
- Energy efficiency certificates, i.e. White Certificates, are used to confirm that a project has been implemented for the end user and provides a set reduction in energy consumption.
- Energy efficiency certificates are a type of “financial bonus”, as they involve reimbursing part of the costs incurred for investments in energy efficiency improvements.
- White certificates are property rights based on energy efficiency certificates and, as such, are traded on the Polish Power Exchange (TGE). They are issued by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office (URE). According to the Act, applications for the issuance of White Certificates need to be submitted at the planning stage before work starts, i.e. before a contract for their implementation is signed or equipment is purchased.
White Certificates in the OptiGO! System.
The OptiGO! system is aligned with the goals of the Energy Efficiency Act. White Certificates, which confirm reduced energy consumption, are one of the solutions.
We guarantee support in obtaining White Certificates when taking advantage of energy efficiency solutions in industrial, office, commercial, logistics and warehouse facilities, as well as Data Centres. With our experience, we offer support in obtaining White Certificates for the following services:
- Upgrade or replacement of process equipment related to industrial processes.
- Upgrade or replacement of internal and external light sources.
- Implementation of intelligent control systems, power supply systems, devices and systems used in industrial, energy, telecommunications and IT processes, devices and systems used in mining, and local heating systems and heat sources.
- Upgrade of internal central heating and hot water systems (replacement or installation of insulating covers), as well as replacement of belts and manufacturing lines.
- Upgrade heat recovery systems for devices and processes implemented for industrial or energy purposes and use of the heat for utility or technological process purposes.
