Cybersecurity

In this day and age, information security threats pose a serious challenge to every organisation and individual user. The theft of intellectual property, fraudulent emails sent by cybercriminals, and the proliferation of malicious software are real problems in the modern world. Cybersecurity is no longer a topic reserved solely for IT specialists - it affects each and every one of us.

As our Company maintains constant contact with clients and business partners via digital communication channels, we attach particular importance to data security. We are committed to providing you with access to reliable knowledge regarding cybersecurity threats and practical methods of protection against them.

Safety in cyberspace depends primarily on the awareness and responsibility of each user. We therefore encourage you to familiarise yourself with the fundamental principles of cybersecurity:

  1. Do not open attachments from untrusted sources or click on suspicious links. A brief moment of inadvertence can make you the victim of a cyberattack.
  2. Thoroughly check website addresses - especially those where you enter authentication credentials (username and password), particularly for the online Customer Service Desk or internet banking services.
  3. Regularly update the hardware and software you use.
  4. Do not connect external data storage devices unless you are completely certain of their origin.
  5. Use complex passwords that are difficult to guess. Apply the "one password per account" rule. Do not reuse the same passwords across different platforms and services.
  6. Before clicking "OK", read carefully to understand what you are consenting to.
  7. Never share your authentication credentials (usernames, passwords) with anyone.
  8. Adopt a policy of limited trust towards public Wi-Fi networks. Avoid using your authentication credentials (username and password) whilst connected to them.
  9. Remember to log out of your account once you have finished working on your computer.
  10. Protect your privacy. Configure privacy settings on social media platforms appropriately, making informed decisions about what information you wish to share about yourself and how.
  11. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) wherever available. This additional layer of security makes it significantly harder for cybercriminals to access your account and your data.
