Heat reclamation from ventilation

The system for reclaiming heat from ventilation is an innovative solution from Veolia which uses waste heat to produce domestic hot water. The solution is based on a specially designed system which extracts air from the vertical ventilation ducts through pre-insulated roof ventilation channels to the “heart” of the system – the air-source heat pump. The system provides a stable lower heat source for the pump regardless of the time of the year. This allows the device to work with optimally low electric power demand. Depending on the building’s technical capabilities, the system is able to provide up to 80% of domestic hot water annually.

Our offer

  • We are able to conduct comprehensive audits of individual elements of the system, such as the components, heat sources and heat emitters.
  • We select optimal equipment and simulate the generation and heat demand in the building.
  • We provide comprehensive services from concept and audit through equipment assembly and startup, to final acceptance of the system.
  • We monitor and manage the system’s operation.
  • Our ESCO model is a beneficial business proposition.
  • During the term of the ESCO agreement, we handle the operation, servicing and inspections of the equipment in order to make the heat recovery system run smoothly and without interruptions. This allows us to ensure high energy savings.
  • At the client’s request, we are able to continue handling the management and maintenance of the system after the ESCO agreement expires, so that the system keeps performing at the highest level without issues.
